Course Information
By taking this course on Incoterms® 2020, you will gain a full understanding of the international trade terms used in contracts for the sale of goods, and how they can reduce risk and grow the bottom line of a business. You will also learn the importance of customs brokers and OTI's to understand these terms.
Additionally, you will learn how to properly use and apply the Incoterms® 2020 rules, including their benefits and limitations, in order to make informed decisions about shipping, insurance, and other aspects of international trade. You will gain practical skills and knowledge that can be immediately applied to your day-to-day work, such as negotiating contracts, selecting appropriate terms, and avoiding common pitfalls. By the end of the course, you will have a strong foundation in Incoterms® 2020 and be better equipped to conduct successful international trade transactions.

The Incoterms® 2020 course is a half-day online training program that course covers the purpose and application of these international trade terms, including a review of each of the 11 Incoterms® rules. Participants will also learn how to correctly incorporate these terms into contracts and avoid common mistakes. Additionally, the course covers the role of customs brokers and OTI's in understanding and using Incoterms® 2020.
In the event that you are unable to attend this course, you may send a substitute attendee at no additional cost. However, if you need to cancel your registration, a full refund will be issued only if we receive notice of cancellation at least 30 days prior to the scheduled start date of the course. To request a refund, please visit our Contact page and send us a message with the subject line "Cancel Class."
Please note that we do not issue refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of the course start date. However, you can choose to transfer your registration to a future class for a $95.00 change fee.
